Description

THE SPEAKER THAT STARTED IT ALL

Celebrating 80 years of acoustic innovation, the Klipschorn 80th Anniversary Limited Edition reimagines Paul W. Klipsch’s original patented loudspeaker design. This fully horn-loaded, two-way loudspeaker combines the efficiency and dynamic capabilities of the iconic Klipschorn with updated acoustic components and an active crossover, delivering a powerful and lifelike listening experience.

HIFI HOTROD – MAXIMUM IMPACT

Designed for exceptional sensitivity and efficiency, the Klipschorn pairs a new K-5-K high-frequency horn with a high-powered compression driver. Its eight-foot folded bass horn and 15-inch woofer provide deep, impactful low frequencies, while the horn-loaded architecture supports dynamic, detailed reproduction with minimal amplifier power.

Closer than ever

The included active crossover gives the system greater control over its acoustic performance. Adjustments to phase, time delay, gain and equalisation allow the crossover to optimise integration between the low- and high-frequency sections, helping deliver a more coherent and precise presentation.

PREMIUM HEIRLOOM QUALITY

Each speaker is handcrafted in Hope, Arkansas, and finished in book-matched Tigerwood veneer with real brass inlays. The striking sandcast aluminium horn and carefully finished cabinet combine traditional craftsmanship with a distinctive mid-century aesthetic, creating a loudspeaker designed to be appreciated both visually and acoustically.

THROWBACK TRACKS

Each system includes a limited-run 180 g vinyl pressing of archival KlipschTape recordings from the 1950s. These historic stereo demonstrations provide a connection to the origins of high-fidelity audio and the legacy of Paul W. Klipsch.

HAND-CRAFTED IN HOPE

The Klipschorn continues a tradition of American loudspeaker craftsmanship dating back to 1946. Built by skilled artisans in Hope, Arkansas, the 80th Anniversary Edition combines the original design philosophy with contemporary engineering and carefully selected materials.
