Shipping & Returns/Refunds Policy

Shipping
We endeavour to ship items to you as quickly and safely as possible. We apologise if we're unable to ship to your location — please contact us if you're unsure whether we deliver to your area.
- We ship New Zealand-wide using Post Haste. A freight forwarder may be used for larger parcels (e.g. floorstanding speakers, amplifiers, furniture).
- We do not deliver to PO boxes, or to any address we consider unsuitable for the safe delivery of the goods.
- Free freight on orders over $499, excluding on-sale/clearance items. Orders under $499, and all on-sale items, incur a standard shipping charge calculated at checkout.
- Large or heavy items may incur an additional freight surcharge — we'll contact you with the cost before dispatch if this applies.
For specific questions about shipping to your address, please contact us.
Returns & Refunds
Your Rights Under the Consumer Guarantees Act
All products we sell are covered by their full manufacturer's warranty (typically between 1 and 10 years depending on the brand and product), in addition to your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (CGA). If a product is faulty, not of acceptable quality, or not fit for purpose, you're entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund. This applies regardless of, and cannot be limited by, any policy below.
Change of Mind
We do not have to give you a refund if you simply change your mind about a purchase. However, as a courtesy:
- We may consider an exchange or store credit if the goods are unopened and in as-new condition.
- Alternatively, we may consider a refund less a 20% restocking fee, at our discretion.
- The following items cannot be returned for change of mind: opened headphones/earphones and other items in direct contact with the body (for hygiene reasons), custom or special-order items, and clearance/final-sale items (unless faulty).
- Goods returned for change of mind are shipped back to us at your cost and risk. We recommend using a traceable courier (e.g. NZ Post, NZ Couriers, Post Haste) — we can't be held responsible for items lost or damaged in transit back to us.
- We can also arrange collection via our own couriers; the cost of return freight will be deducted from your refund. Contact us for details if you'd like this option.
Faulty Goods
If a product you've purchased is faulty, please let us know within 7 days of discovering the fault, and we will repair or replace it — or, at our discretion, provide a refund — in line with your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act.
How to Start a Return
Notify us by email before sending anything back, including:
- Date of purchase
- Order or invoice number
- Reason for return
- Your name and a daytime contact number
Damaged, Incorrect or Faulty Orders
If your order arrives damaged, incorrect, or faulty, we will replace it — and in these cases, we will cover the cost of return freight.
Before signing for any delivery
- If the packaging appears damaged at the time of delivery, tell the freight company immediately and note the damage in writing at the time.
- If you don't notify the freight company of visible damage at the time of delivery, we may not be able to accept liability.
After delivery
- You must notify us by email within 7 working days of receiving damaged, incorrect, or faulty goods.
- If we're not notified within this window, we may not be able to accept liability.
- Any damaged, incorrect, or faulty goods must be returned to us (unless we've agreed otherwise in writing) before a refund is issued.
