Yamaha’s exclusive YSP beam speaker technology uses twelve DSP-controlled height beam speakers, arranged six on each side, to direct sound towards the ceiling and create a more realistic sense of height. Designed to complement immersive audio formats, this technology helps deliver a spacious, three-dimensional listening experience that goes beyond conventional soundbar performance.

Designed for premium home cinema, the TRUE X SURROUND 90A combines a slim, rigidly constructed soundbar with carefully selected speaker components and a dedicated subwoofer. Its two rechargeable wireless rear speakers provide flexible placement around the listening area without the need for traditional speaker cables, helping create an immersive surround system with a clean, uncluttered appearance.

SURROUND™ analyses the audio content in real time and automatically adjusts surround-processing parameters to suit changing scenes. By adapting the sound field to elements such as dialogue, music and effects, it aims to deliver a more convincing and immersive presentation without requiring constant manual adjustments.

FEEL THE DEPTH, HEAR THE POWER

The dedicated subwoofer features Yamaha’s Symmetrical Flare Port® technology, engineered to manage airflow more smoothly during demanding bass reproduction. Yamaha states that this design reduces port noise by 20 dB compared with conventional models, helping deliver powerful, deep bass with reduced unwanted noise.

Support for Dolby Atmos®, DTS™ and AURO-3D® provides compatibility with a range of immersive sound formats, bringing greater dimensionality to compatible films and other content.

TRUE X SURROUND

The two TRUE X SPEAKER 3A units operate as fully wireless rear surround speakers, giving you flexibility when positioning them around your room. Their built-in batteries also let you use them independently as portable Bluetooth® speakers. Activate Solo mode to enjoy music away from the soundbar system.

SURROUND™

SURROUND™ continuously evaluates the audio scene and adjusts the sound processing to suit what is happening on screen. This helps balance dialogue, background music, ambience and effects, creating a more cohesive surround presentation as scenes change.

Yamaha’s UNIQUE NETWORK FUNCTION MusicCast

MusicCast provides network audio functionality and access to supported streaming services. The system is compatible with AirPlay 2 and services including Spotify, Deezer and Amazon Music, allowing music playback through the soundbar as well as integration with compatible MusicCast devices around the home.

STATE-OF-THE ART AUDIO PROCESSING “AURO-3D®”

The TRUE X SURROUND 90A supports AURO-3D®, an immersive audio format designed to add a sense of height and space to the listening experience. AURO-MATIC upmixing can also process stereo content into a more enveloping three-dimensional sound field.

ADVANCED APP CONTROL

The MusicCast Controller app provides convenient control of the soundbar and allows adjustment of height beam angles and volume levels, helping you tailor the system to your room and listening preferences.

FLEXIBLE MUSIC PLAYBACK

The rechargeable TRUE X SPEAKER 3A rear speakers can be placed wirelessly around the listening area and used independently as Bluetooth® speakers. This dual-purpose design gives you the freedom to enjoy surround sound for films and portable music playback when needed.

WALL HANGING

The soundbar can be wall-mounted using the supplied mounting fittings. Its legs can be removed for installation, helping it sit neatly beneath a wall-mounted television.

CLEAR VOICE & BASS EXTENSION

Clear Voice enhances the intelligibility of dialogue, making speech easier to follow during films and television programmes. Bass Extension adds extra weight and depth to low frequencies while aiming to preserve clarity through the midrange and treble.

EASY CONNECTIVITY

HDMI eARC and CEC allow straightforward connection to a compatible television using a single HDMI cable. With CEC enabled, basic functions such as power and volume can be controlled using a compatible TV remote.
