Sonus faber Sonetto V G2

Sonetto V is a three-way floorstanding loudspeaker designed to provide a large-scale and immersive presentation from a relatively slender cabinet. Its combination of a Camelia midrange, dual 165 mm woofers and D.A.D. tweeter delivers a broad frequency range and substantial dynamic capability.

CORK

The tweeter and midrange are housed within a dedicated cork chamber derived from technology developed for the flagship Suprema. The organic acoustic properties of cork are used to help improve the clarity and natural character of the midrange.

CAMELIA MIDRANGE SPEAKER

The Camelia midrange was originally developed for Suprema and features an organic basket with a membrane inspired by the geometry of the camellia flower. Its five-cut shape is designed to avoid the resonances associated with conventional circular diaphragms and enhance Sonus faber’s Natural Sound approach.

45° WOOD

The 45-degree wood veneer is a distinctive Sonus faber design feature also used on prestigious models such as Stradivari, Amati and the Homage collection. On Sonetto G2 it adds visual depth to the cabinet while highlighting the handmade character of the woodwork.

FLOWER PATTERNED SURROUND

The woofers feature an asymmetric floral-patterned surround surrounding their sandwich-cone structure. The geometry is designed to disrupt circular modes, reduce interference and improve linearity and dispersion.

TWEETER COPPER CUP

The Sonetto G2 Silk Dome D.A.D. tweeter incorporates a copper cup that extends its high-frequency response beyond 30 kHz. This design is intended to reproduce fine details with clarity and precision.
