We think our R3S is the best compact all-in-one music system available, and evidence of this are the wonderful independent reviews we receive from our customers. As designers we understand that for many customers looks are as important as sound, and with its beautiful hand-crafted cabinet, crisp OLED display and tactile RotoDial controller, we have created a system that exudes style and one that you will be proud to display in your home.

Regarding sound, powering the system is a dynamic high fidelity amplifier, which combined with our custom NS+ drivers and STEREO+ sound processing, creates a soundstage with depth and realism that extends way beyond R3S’s compact stature, so whatever your taste in music, R3S will fulfil the needs of even the most discerning listener.

Music and radio on demand

R3S directly supports key streaming services including Spotify Connect*, Amazon Music and Deezer, and with its Bluetooth 5 receiver every other streaming service available. Bluetooth 5 provides excellent sound quality with its more efficient connection means that connected devices will run longer without needing a recharge. The Bluetooth function also seamlessly integrates with the volume control on phones and tablets, so when volume is changed, this also adjusts the volume on R3S.

Radio is evolving and with its SmartRadio tuner R3S will maximise your enjoyment of this timeless medium. DAB/DAB+ and FM tuners provide access to local and national broadcasts and its Internet Tuner allows you access stations world-wide. In addition with the growth of Podcasts, R3S has a source dedicated to this increasingly popular format and a podcast to suit your taste is only a few clicks away using our slick RotoDial controller or supplied IR remote. Also available is a free Android and iOS control app called Oktiv. This also allows full control of R3S and is particularly useful for searching internet radio stations and podcasts.

CD playback and more

CD is still a great way to enjoy music and with its high specification player, R3S allows customers to rediscover the fun of browsing cover art and liner notes, whilst enjoying sublime sound. Alongside standard CDs, R3S also supports homemade CDs encoded with WAV and MP3 files and will display track and artist data if this information is available on the disc.

On the rear panel we’ve included a USB-C playback and charge port, a headphone output and switchable analogue and digital inputs so devices such as a Turntable or TV can be easily connected. For extra bass extension, the line outputs can be switched so they can be used for connection to an active subwoofer. Our own RS1 subwoofer is a perfect match for R3S adding an extra level of dynamic realism to its already impressive sound.
