$3,695.00 inc. GST

Lumina II Amator is a passive bookshelf speaker that builds on the strengths of its predecessor, Lumina II, with improved performance and upgraded crossover technology.

Description

AMATOR HERITAGE

Lumina II Amator builds upon the Lumina II bookshelf speaker with upgraded performance and crossover technology. The Amator designation represents Sonus faber’s special models, combining the company’s established design philosophy with technologies developed for higher-end products.

MADE IN ITALY

Produced at Sonus faber’s factory in Vicenza, Italy, Lumina II Amator combines wood and leather with the squared design language of the Lumina collection. Its front panel features distinctive 45-degree woodgrain lacquered veneers.

IMPROVED CROSSOVER

The crossover has been developed using technology derived from the development of Sonus faber’s new Homage collection. The network operates at 2600 Hz, compared with 1800 Hz in the standard Lumina II, with the aim of improving overall coherence and resolution.

SIMPLICITY AND STYLE

Lumina II Amator is available in Red High Gloss Multilayer Wood, Wenge High Gloss Multilayer Wood and Walnut High Gloss Multilayer Wood, all combined with black leather.

DETAILS AND FEATURES

The 29 mm D.A.D. tweeter uses a Kurtmueller hand-coated soft silk diaphragm. The 150 mm midwoofer uses a custom-made basket and a diaphragm made from cellulose pulp blended with natural fibres. The IFF crossover circuitry is designed around phase-coherent reproduction and improved resolution.
