The R_volution PlayerMini is a compact media player compatible with Dolby Vision and HDR10+ powered by the Amlogic S905X4-K chipset.
The R_volution PlayerMini is a powerful set-top box designed to stream movies, TV shows and concert files from a NAS or USB-connected external hard drive. It includes the popular R_video Media Center application to manage your video library. The R_volution PlayerMini offers compatibility with 4K video files in HDR and delivers stunning picture and sound quality to meet the needs of the most demanding home theater enthusiasts.

Your video files are delivered to your home theater with stunning video quality and lossless reproductions of the original movie soundtracks. The R_volution PlayerMini combines excellent performance with a compact design for multiroom entertainment and yacht setup.
Our amazing R_video user interface provides the best AI available on the market to organize your movie library. R_video along with the PC/Mac app offers advanced customization features that allow you to create custom categories and specific groups of movies, listen to original soundtrack clips while browsing titles, personalize your home page and add custom signature top banners like Director’s Cut or Pure Audio Blu-ray. Use the intuitive PC/Mac app to upload your own title page content, movie covers and backgrounds.
The R_volution PlayerMini supports the majority of digital audio and video formats, including the most modern HDR standards such as Dolby Vision and HDR10+, almost all recent video file formats, including MKV, BD and UHD ISO files with complete and fast BD/UHD menus, AV1 and HEVC video codecs with a billion colors, 4K 60p HDR, high-resolution audio files such as DSD, AIFF, FLAC, ALAC, and multichannel audio format such as AC-4, Auro3D, Dolby Atmos and DTS:X for an amazing home theater experience.

Even on a Full HD 1080p TV or a front projector, you will be astounded by the picture of your display!
● Dolby Vision and HDR10+: Display your HDR, HDR10+ and Dolby Vision video content on a compatible display Source-Based Tone Mapping (SBTM).
● HDR Conversion: Convert your HDR video content into SDR to display it on your 1080p TV or projector managed by a brand new video processing for accurate color grading accuracy and luminance curve conversion.
● 10/12-Bit: Take advantage of powerful 10/12-bit YUV hardware decoding for professional-quality video display and benefit from increased nuance and reduced “posterization” (“banding”) effect.

Warning! Netflix and Disney+ are not compatible. Amazon Prime Video is compatible up to 1080p resolution. YouTube is compatible up to 4K resolution. Caution! Streaming services may stop at any time depending on content providers’ compatibility requirements.
● 3D Video Support: Enjoy all your 3D video files in SbS (Side-by-Side) and Top-Bottom (TV requires manual switching into 3D mode). 3D MVC Frame Packing not supported.
● Network Player: Connect your media player to your local network and enjoy your content from a PC/MAC or a NAS via SMB or NFS. Caution! NFS is not yet supported by R_video.
● SMB Server: Access the contents located on the internal hard drives of the R_volution Player (or a connected hard drive) from a computer connected via local network.
● MKV Player: Playback SD, HD and UHD video content in MKV and other modern video file containers and formats, including top quality AV1/VP9/HEVC/H.265 video codecs with very high bit-rates (up to 300 Mbp/s in H.265/ HEVC and up to 250 Mbps in H.264/AVC).
● BD ISO / UHD ISO / BDMV: Display Blu-ray and 4K UHD Blu-ray menus with full access to additional content, commentator audio tracks, theatrical versions, bookmarks and all extras with seamless branching support. Support for DVD menus is planned for a future update.
● USB Ports: Conveniently connect HDDs, USB flash drives, USB card readers and other USB storage devices. Large drives up to 32TB are supported in single partition.
● USB 3.0 port: Read or transfer your files in ultra high speed.
● A/V Connectors: Digital A/V HDMI 2.1 output, S/PDIF optical digital audio output.
● Multichannel home cinema audio: Bitstream up to 11.1.8 channels, downmix stereo.
● Playback Memory: Resume playback from the last position.
● Favorite Scenes: Create favorite scenes from your movies and concerts and enjoy scenes created by other users in the R_volution community.
● Backlit Remote Control: High quality backlit remote control with convenient direct access and shortcuts, wide range (60° / 26 ft) and recordable buttons to control another device.
