renames HDMI inputs automatically when connected or you can
rename manually at your convenience.
Audyssey premium suites of room-correction technology
Denon AV amplifiers use the Audyssey suite of EQ software
for simple, accurate set-up and calibration. With the supplied
Audyssey measuring microphone, Audyssey measures all the
speakers in your home theatre, and tunes the AV amplifier to
provide the smoothest, most optimal overall listening experience
for your room. This AV amplifier supports Audyssey MultEQ XT32
and SubEQ HT, Audyssey’s highest room correction technology.
The other supported Audyssey features are Dynamic EQ,
Dynamic Volume and LFC (Low Frequency Containment).
Audyssey MultEQ Editor app

Dual speaker preset memory
Store two speaker settings and switch between the two
settings on the fly, giving you freedom to optimize your listening
experience based on the content or listening environment.
AL32 Processing technology
AL32 Processing, a Denon proprietary analogue waveform
reproduction technology, supports up to 192 kHz sampling
frequency and performs a 32bit expansion on your amplifier.
The technology thoroughly suppresses noise associated with D/
A conversion to reproduce the low-level signals with optimum
clarity that will bring out all the delicate nuances of the music.
AL32 Processing Multi-Channel means the technology is applied
on all channels and all input sources.
Three-source, three zones
The amplifier supports three-source, three-zones. You can drive
three different zones with three different sources simultaneously,
or all with the same source. Use the amplifier’s internal
amplification configurable in the setup, or use zone two and
zone three pre-outs to connect with external amplifiers. One of
the HDMI outputs can be used as a second A/V zone. Play your
favourite playlists in your living room, kitchen and patio, or you
can enjoy your favourite movies or the latest episodes from your
favourite TV series with surround sound on your TV while the
amplifier plays HEOS music in other rooms.
13.4 channel processing, 11 channel amplification
With external two-channel amplification that can be assigned to
either Front Left and Right, or a pair of height channels, you can
setup a 13 channel speaker configuration such as 7.1.6 or 9.1.4,
allowing you even more flexibility and elevated immersive audio
experience.
Subwoofer outputs and settings
Immerse yourself in evenly distributed, accurate bass. Featuring
up to four subwoofer outputs to smooth out low frequencies
and provide better dispersion. No audible peaks or dips—just
powerful, room-filling bass. Tweak your subwoofer settings
to your preference when more than two subwoofers are
connected. Select “Standard” if you want evenly distributed bass
performance. Select “Directional” if you want more directional
bass performance seamlessly integrated into the speaker
channel closest to each subwoofer in the room.
Pre Amplifier Mode
Your Denon AV amplifier can work as a perfect AV preamplifier
with the latest HDMI connectivity. Pre-Amplifier Mode provides
a cleaner signal path and more tolerance in clipping level by
disconnecting internal amplifiers. Add the flexibility to disconnect
select speaker channels so that you can use the AV amplifier’s
built-in amplification to drive non-critical channels to get a clearer
signal path for the channels driven by external amplification.
